Jet (Azabache) is a special wood which for millions of years absorbed energy and heat from earth and transformed to a powerful stone. It is meant to protect against danger, bad luck & sickness. In some African tribes, Jet is burned to produce a black smoke to deter demons and witchcraft. The Azabache hand is worn on a young child for protection.
