About us

Why Ya Sezi Bon Manbo is not your average spiritual website

At Ya Sezi Bon Manbo, LLC, everything is not done as a cookie-cutter, copy and paste approach. While the supplies are meant to be sold to those who need it (for example, candles, bracelets, etc.), each spiritual work is custom made and is not made in advance. The spiritual work is custom and unique to the client’s specific needs, specific requirements and desires. This site welcomes all, notice and advanced spiritualists and practitioners, to get their necessary supplies at the best quality we can offer. More importantly, at Ya Sezi Bon Manbo, LLC, clarity is key. We attempt to provide knowledge for the items that are sold here, as well as information you may seek and require during your spiritual journey. Question regarding a lwa or a deity? The answer will likely be found here. We do not believe in being secretive in our approach – that is not how true spirituality is conducted.

Who is Ya Sezi Bon Manbo?

Ya Sezi Bon Manbo was the name given to me during my Kanzo in 2019. My Papa Kanzo explained that it meant – “they will be shocked.” At that point, I was not sure how to take it, but I later understood that it was because I was to defy all norms and destroy all stereotypes in my spiritual journey.

My spiritual journey began when I was 13 years old, when my father told me I was “different.” He took my hand and put his hand above it, not touching mine and I felt a huge heatwave go from his palm to mine. He smiled and said – “you will find your gift.” My curiosity peaked and I started looking at my palms – seeing what I was able to discover through all the lines and marks. I learned to read palms. I started picking up people’s energies. I started reading photos and looking at people’s eyes. Then, I received my first deck of tarot cards as a gift. The rest was history from there. I have been reading for over 24 years and my cards do not lie. Of course, clients approach it with skepticism, but when the readings come to fruition, they always see that the spiritual advice given from above should not be ignored. However, hey, what do I know? I am just a girl who reads cards.

I am the child of Oya. Child of the Mother of Nine. Mother of Storms. In 2020, a Babalawo told me – “some initiate to become Iyanifa; but some are born Iyanifa, as that it is theire path.” He told me it was my journey to continue to reach higher spiritual peaks and continue to help others. “Follow your intuition,” he told me.

I am an open book of information. I pride myself in honesty and quality. You will not find me attending random ceremonies for popularity, or performing spiritual work that may be of negative intention. You will not see me post stories on Instagram to brag about my work. Spirits and deities do not appreciate those who brag and are of boasting nature; spirituality is based on being humbled by the blessings given to you. I am humbled daily by every client who tells me that I have helped them, and I am grateful for every day that I am able to continue to do so.
